Joining Selma UMC isn’t as easy as signing your name on the dotted line. We know how important it is for you to find out who we are as well as to discover your place. Most Christians find themselves desiring to know what God’s will is for their lives, and participating in C.L.A.S.S. gives you every opportunity to do just that.
C.L.A.S.S. stands for Christian Learning And Service Seminars. It’s a series of five two-week classes held during our 10:45 service on Sunday mornings. This allows you to attend the 9:00am service for worship and scoot over to class during second service. C.L.A.S.S. looks like this:

401: Discovering Your Life Mission
501: Discovering Heartfelt Worship
After participating in C.L.A.S.S., you will be able to become a member of Selma UMC! The ten-dollar cost for C.L.A.S.S. covers your notebook and other educational material. We will sign you up for C.L.A.S.S. and you will be on your way to discovering your place in the Kingdom and in Selma United Methodist Church.
